La LICORNE

Since 1969, La Licorne (Unicorn in French) sails according to streams and winds , as 19th century schooners did. Built in the Gaspe peninsula (Quebec)  accordingly to craftmen tradition, it is one of the last ones to testify the time wooden schooners with aurique rigging sailed in Lords of the sea.

To live the experience of those courageous sailors of the past , who were harvesting the ocean for a living , you could join the present crew of La Licorne . Let's enjoy the breeze and freedom of the sea in a new adventure .

" La Licorne " is 65 feet long , and15 feet wide , which allows good comfortable room space which is similar to those of modern sail boats , in complete safety. The "atmosphere" on board is left with the human relations which build up according to the operations on the deck and during docks and marinas during stopovers.

The modern equipment allows  an enjoyable , comfortable and safe journey .

" La Licorne " welcomes you to be a part of the crew and to live " the adventure ".
Welcome aboard !"
